Network Marketing Recruiting

network marketing recruiting

Many beginners to network marketing or people searching for a home based business might be reluctant to get stuck into an opportunity because they think it is a sales role. The truth about this type of business is that anyone can achieve successful results due to the network marketing training that is available crushing the learning curve failure people fear so much.

The best type of training that anyone can receive in the networking business is from successful people themselves that have built a great business. The process of duplication is a powerful one and should be taken into consideration when listening to those all successful few.

The name speaks for its self promotion, just think about that for a minute, the more people you find, the better it is for your business, and they will be around for long periods of time will get to know you and what you do; this is very important in network marketing. Rub shoulders with the best to become the best.

The training involved at these events will consist of goal setting, how to talk to people about your business and how to follow up leads. This is all need to know stuff and will give you the nudge you need to succeed. What these meeting will not teach you is using the power of the internet to build your down line.

More and more successful marketers are using the internet to build their team. For those of us that do not really like hassling friends and family about their money making pursuits need worry no more. The internet is going to get a lot more people looking at your business than any other method.

Do some figures of your own and you will see what I mean; you have 10 friends who each have 10 friends who each have 10 friends and so on, spreading the word about your business might not be as exponential as you think. If you tell your 10 friends about your business and only 1 is interested, which is a very realistic figure, and they join and tell their 10 friends who also have 1 member join. You are going to get maybe 10 people join over the period of a year.

With the internet you can be telling 1000s upon 1000s of people about your networking business every day. The power of the numbers game is going to see a much quicker business being built than the original format being taught in meeting rooms today.

Getting quality network marketing training helps you to find the right tactics to boost your sales. Online network marketing training helps you complete marketing tutorials at a time that is convenient for you.

Obama boosts funds for Alzheimer's research (Reuters)

(Reuters) ? The Obama administration plans to spend an additional $156 million over the next two years to help find an effective treatment for Alzheimer's, a fatal brain-wasting disease that affects more than 5 million Americans.

The White House said on Tuesday it will spend and extra $50 million this year, and it will seek an extra $80 million in fiscal 2013 to bolster Alzheimer's research. Obama also plans to spend an additional $26 million in programs to support people who care for Alzheimer's patients.

The spending increase is intended help make good on a U.S. target set last month to find a way to treat or prevent Alzheimer's by 2025, a goal some experts fear is too ambitious.

Current drugs help manage symptoms but so far no therapy can stop the progression of Alzheimer's, which can start with vague memory loss and confusion before progressing to complete disability and death.

Experts predict that without an effective treatment, the number of Americans with Alzheimer's will double by 2050 and related healthcare costs could soar to more than $1 trillion a year.

These projections are simply staggering," National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins said in a statement. "This new funding will accelerate NIH's effort to use the power of science to develop new ways of helping people with Alzheimer's disease and those at risk."

The $50 million cash infusion this year brings the U.S. Alzheimer's research budget to half a billion dollars, an improvement, advocates say, but still far short of what the nation spends on other chronic diseases.

The spending will support the nation's first comprehensive plan to fight Alzheimer's disease, an effort mandated by the National Alzheimer's Project Act signed into law by President Barack Obama last year.

The project will coordinate government-wide efforts to prevent and treat the disease and create a national strategy for Alzheimer's.

Australia, France and South Korea already have comprehensive Alzheimer's plans, and global experts have been urging the United States to take a leadership role.

"Today's announcement reflects this administration's commitment to confronting Alzheimer's, a disease that takes a devastating toll on millions of Americans," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement.

So far, U.S. investment in the search for Alzheimer's treatments has fallen short of what the nation spends on other chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.

Roughly $6 billion is spent each year by the NIH on cancer, which affects about 12 million Americans, and more than $4 billion on heart disease, which kills more than 800,000 nationally each year.

Alzheimer's advocates advising the HHS on its research strategy have said it will take as much as $2 billion a year in research funding to make a significant difference in finding an effective treatment.

"This infusion of funds is important," said Harry Johns, president and CEO of the Alzheimer's Association, who called the disease "the public health crisis of this century."

Dr. Ronald Petersen, a Mayo Clinic researcher who chairs the HHS Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, said he sees the announcement as a good faith gesture by the administration.

"In these times, one could not realistically expect a billion or 2 billion dollars to be allocated in next year's budget," Petersen told Reuters.

But over the long haul, he said it will take a significant amount of funds to meet that target.

Media Misdirect: Donald Trump Endorses Romney for President (ContributorNetwork)

COMMENTARY | In what was either a political double-cross or a media misdirect of some sort, business mogul Donald Trump announced Thursday that he was endorsing Mitt Romney for president. Much of the media, including outlets like the Associated Press, had been reporting that sources from within the Gingrich campaign had indicated that the celebrity businessman would soon announce an endorsement of their candidate.

Talk about getting juked out of your shoes...

At an impromptu news conference in Las Vegas, as reported by CBS News, Trump told the gathering of reporters, " Mitt is tough, he's smart, he's sharp, he's not going to allow bad things to continue to happen to this country that we all love...So Governor Romney, go out and get 'em, you can do it."

He further noted that Romney seemed to be the only candidate to notice how the country was getting "ripped off" by those that it dealt with and how Romney recognized how OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) and China were " absolutely destroying this country."

But what about supporting Newt Gingrich? When asked about reports that he was to throw his support behind the former Speaker, Trump said, "They put that out." He insisted that he never told anyone he was backing Gingrich.

But what about the sources? The National Journal noted that they had confirmed the Gingrich endorsement through Gingrich sources that wish to remain anonymous.

Good thing, considering that their employer has been left without a Trump endorsement.

The Wall Street Journal also reported that sources within the Gingrich camp had confirmed the Trump endorsement.

The Associated Press also ran with the Gingrich endorsement story Wednesday evening. Up until Trump's press conference, many thought Gingrich had the businessman's endorsement sewn up.

The good news for Republicans might not be in the endorsement itself, but in the Trump announcement that if Romney went on to win the Republican nomination in August, he would not run as a third party candidate. An independent candidacy, at least from the Republican Party perspective, could spell certain defeat in November, drawing away conservative voters that would most likely vote for the Republican candidate if the independent contender had not entered the race. Of course, leaving the spectre of a Trump candidacy in the cards should Gingrich get the nomination might also sway some undecided voters away from Gingrich as well.

So which was it? Just a bunch of reporters getting their stories wrong or someone misdirecting the media, such as Trump himself (known for manipulating the media and finding ways to keep himself in the spotlight, especially when his television show, "Celebrity Apprentice," is due to begin a seasonal run). Could there have been a political double-cross, one where certain things were said, perhaps promised, then removed from consideration?

Many scenarios are possible, but it is difficult to see campaign staffers and/or officials within the Gingrich organization confirming endorsement stories without some solid reason for doing so. Politics being what they are, politicians and the people that work for them are usually very circumspect when confirming endorsements and do not base their "leaked" information, even if given anonymously, on wishful thinking.

And a complete media misdirect with an endorsement made in the City of Sin, in the land of big deals and bigger gambles, seems all about presentation and not at all about substance.

Something that has been said about Donald Trump all too often.

Besides, the new season of "Celebrity Apprentice" begins in two weeks.

NH pilot in Mass. crash denied permission to solo (AP)

CONCORD, N.H. ? Transportation records show the flight instructor for a New Hampshire pilot charged with killing his daughter in a Massachusetts plane crash repeatedly denied his requests to fly solo.

Instructor Michael Truman told federal investigators 57-year-old Steven Fay of Hillsborough should not have been flying his twin-engine Cessna without an instructor on board and that that he was "crazy" to be flying the plane at night.

Massachusetts prosecutors are charging Fay with involuntary manslaughter in the crash at Orange Municipal Airport that killed 35-year-old Jessica Fay on New Year's Day 2011. The crash occurred 90 minutes after sunset, after the plane clipped treetops on descent.

Fay told The Associated Press he loved his daughter and has been grief-stricken since her death.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Greenfield, Mass. Involuntary manslaughter is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Fay did have a license to pilot single-engine planes, but the Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency order revoking that license two months after the crash. He had obtained the license in 1989.

That emergency order, dated March 22, states that Fay lacked the "care, judgment, responsibility and compliant attitude" required of a licensed pilot. The order notes that he was not authorized to fly solo, carry passengers and was not current on flying at night. It notes his last night flight was 2000. The order also criticizes Fay for failing to familiarize himself with the airport.

"You have a blatant disregard for the regulations airmen operate under and present an immediate threat to aviation safety," the order states.

Fay's daughter was pronounced dead at the scene. Fay suffered bruises to his lower torso and legs, according to National Transportation Safety Board reports on the crash.

The NTSB reports indicate Jessica Fay did not have her seatbelt fastened at the time of the crash. Steven Fay told them she had been trying to locate his navigational chart in the back of the airplane as they approached the municipal airport.

Massachusetts State Police say her body was found outside the plane lying in a brook, her legs pinned by a fallen tree.

Truman, who would fly from Norwood, Mass. to instruct Fay on piloting the Cessna, told federal investigators that Fay had asked him "numerous times" for permission to fly solo but Truman refused. Truman told them he felt Fay's "old airplane was still too much for him and that the Cessna 310 was a difficult plane."

Fay would not comment Tuesday on Truman's statements that he repeatedly refused to give Fay permission to solo.

"I can't really comment on what's accurate or not until I at least have a chance to go to court about it," Fay told the Associated Press. "I've been sick for over a year now over losing my daughter and everything else, because I loved her very much."

Rick Bendel, a flight instructor who owns Monadnock Aviation at the Keene airport in New Hampshire where Fay kept his plane, told the Associated Press he refused to work on the plane in the fall of 2010 because it required so much repair.

"The aircraft would not be worth the money spent on it. It seemed to be in such poor condition," Bendel said.

"We could see the nightmare coming," Bendel said, of Fay's intent to fly the plane.

Comodo Programs Manager

Comodo makes a plethora of products ranging from PC tuneup utilities to antivirus suites, but the free Comodo Programs Manager is one for those who wish to manage their systems' applications. The app is designed to let you enable, disable, and update software?as well as rid your computer of broken installations or failed uninstalls that would muddy the registry or hard drive. Comodo Programs Manager has an intuitive, easy-to-use design, but a few niggles keep it from greatness.

Getting Started
Comodo Programs Cleaner scans the hard drive and presents a content summary on the home screen. This home screen consists of a main content area and a dark gray column to the left of it where you'll find four categories: Programs, Drivers and Services, Windows Features, and Windows Updates. In the main content area I saw the number of installed programs (64), drivers and services (423), Windows features and updates (105), and other information. Unfortunately, you can't tweak from this screen, so you have to click one of the categories to the left.

The Comodo Programs Manager Experience
Clicking "Programs" opened a listing of all the applications on my test PC. I could see games (Dead Rising 2), utilities (Geekbench), and a variety of other installs. A drop-down box let me view applications by either their names, icons, or other factors, and a search box returns results on the fly as you key in letters. Clicking an application and then clicking "Standard Uninstall" removes the program from the system. Some programs give you the option to "Change" the install (which opened the installer and let me modify the program to add or remove features) or "Repair" the install (which fixed damaged installations with the click of a button). The application occasionally froze, which required that I close out and then reopen. On the up side, you can back up apps that you install, so that you may recover them at a later time should a problem arise.

"Drivers and Services" lets you remove drivers, but most of the names read as description-less techno-babble, so you should tread lightly in removing them unless you know (or research) what they are first. I understood that an Nvidia driver update was for my PC?s graphics card, but when I saw a very vague ?Beep,? I scratched my head and left it in place. After all, a missing driver can cripple an application. There were a few easily recognizable drivers (such as LogMeIn Remote File System Driver) that I uninstalled with ease.

"Windows Features" lets you disable programs individually, or as a batch. The features are listed in a Windows Explorer-like tree that let me enable/disable the "Games" folder (and all games inside), or dig into the sub-folders and enable/disable the individual titles. I liked the flexibility given here.

"Windows Updates" lets you view all of the installed updates, as well as a list of available updates. The PC test bed had nearly 50 installed updates, and 40 available updates. Acquiring the new updates was as simple as checking the appropriate application boxes and clicking the "Install" button in the lower-right hand corner.

Should You Download Comodo Programs Manager?
Yes. Comodo Programs Manager lets you manage your applications in updates from a central location?no need to tinker within Windows' separate areas. It could be more stable?it froze a bit too frequently for my taste?but it's an app that you should check out if you frequently dabble in application management, and especially if you (like me) install and uninstall apps frequently.

Could ?smart paint? warn of future disasters before they happen? (Yahoo! News)

A new environmentally-friendly paint identifies dangerous defects before they cost lives

Could a simple coat of paint save lives??Researchers at the?University of Strathcylde in Glasgow, Scotland believe so: They've developed a smart paint capable of finding structural defects and the?potential for disaster long before any issues arise.

The?environmentally-friendly paint consists of aligned nanofiber tubes and a recycled byproduct of burning coal. It's not especially?pretty, but that's not the point.?When applied, the paint looks and acts more like a layer of cement than a layer of paint, allowing it to withstand weather.

Should something happen to threaten the stability of the structure the paint is applied to ? say a microcrack forms in a support beam ? the nanofiber tubes in the paint will bend. Because the conductivity of nanofiber tubes change when they bend, the defect can be found remotely using wireless nodes designed to detect changes in current.

Structure collapses do not happen with great frequency, but the consequences of a collapse can be devastating. One person was killed when a?Big Dig ceiling panel fell on a car in Boston in 2006. And in the following year, 13?people were killed and 145 were injured in 2007 when a?bridge spanning the Mississippi River collapsed in Minnesota.
