Directions: Returning to N.C. 12, cross the intersection and continue on Eleventh Avenue east. #15 Eleventh Avenue is on the right side, approximately halfway to the beach. Upon departing the home, exit Eleventh Avenue back onto N.C. 12 heading south.
Remodeling Project: As the Pensabene family grows and the parents become grandparents and the children become parents, so their beach cottage grows.
The cozy family room evolves into a great room, and the kids? bedrooms evolve into master suites.
Today the once quaint cottage comfortably accommodates three generations. The memories continue from the very same, but larger cottage.
